Monkey Gone to Heaven: a pint, a print and an exhibition.

In keeping with Vaughan Oliver’s current exhibition of Pixies sleeve artworks and designs, at Greenwich University, London,  I thought it timely to post a reminder link of my rare and limited hand-made silver gelatine lith prints.

Monkey Gone to Heaven

“Monkey Gone to Heaven (6,5,7) 1988/2014”, is presented as a Special Limited Edition of 15*
The negative was shot in 1988 on Agfapan 25 120 film and hand-printed by the photographer in June 2014, on 12″ x16″ (40.64cm x 50.80cm) Foma Fomatone Classic fibre paper. The print is a silver gelatin “lith print” that has been split-selenium toned and processed using archival methods. Each print is stamped, titled, numbered, dated and signed by myself, on the verso, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.  All prints are shipped from the United Kingdom. Each print is carefully packaged in an archival polyester sleeve and packed flat between several sheets of archival framing board.
