Forest #1, 1990/2015, Tuscany, Italy.

On the last day of 2014 I decided to print an old favourite of mine entitled Forest #1 using my ancient Leitz Focomat 1c enlarger from the late 50’s and the Gene Nocon F-stop timer (popular in the late 80’s) – both pieces of equipment still in perfect working order. The negative was shot in 1990 on Ilford FP4 using a Leica M4 with 35/2 summicron lens (the fabled version 4) and hand-printed by the photographer in 2015, on 12″ x16″ Adox Nuance fibre paper.
